RIO GRANDE — IU Columbus’ first venture into the River States Conference women’s basketball tournament was short lived.
The Crimson Pride fell to regular-season conference champion Rio Grande 119-65 Wednesday in the quarterfinals of the RSC Tournament.
Abby Fleetwood led IUC (4-25) with 17 points, five assists, four steals and one block. Columbus North graduate Emma Beaver had 13 points and nine rebounds, Amaya Collins scored 13 points and Brooklyn McConnell added nine points.
