The Republic is accepting nominations for its annual Woman of the Year, a prestigious honor that recognizes one woman from Bartholomew County for her contributions toward creating a vital community. Honorees are selected on their contributions to creating a high quality of life here with an emphasis on long-term activity, hands-on work and diverse involvement.
Each Woman of the Year receives a custom-made necklace and $1,000 to be awarded to the recipient’s charity of choice. Nominations are restricted to residents of Bartholomew County.
To nominate an individual for Woman of the Year, go to https://www.therepublic.com/woman-of-the-year/.
Nomination deadline is Sunday.
Each year the nomination process begins anew, so nominations from previous years will not be considered.
The Woman of the Year and Women to Watch honorees will be celebrated at ceremonies next summer at The Commons.
