Letter: Verbanic deserves another term on school board

From: Dave Genter

Columbus

I have known Polly Verbanic since our boys played tee-ball together nearly 12 years ago with Columbus Parks and Recreation Department I can, without a doubt, whole-heartedly support her in her re-election bid to be on the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. board for a second term.

Polly has been extremely responsive when asked to look into specific situations or questions I have had as a parent. Every single time, she has thoughtfully considered each concern and responded with clear guidance and insight. Her experience as an admissions counselor at DePauw University gives her the unique understanding to know what our students need to be successful, wherever they go after graduation. Polly has worked diligently to provide our students with the educational opportunities they need to be competitive. I know firsthand that she is discerning and driven to make BCSC the best place to educate our children.

Polly Verbanic is a great asset to our school system and an incredible advocate for our students. I look forward to the further improvements she will bring into BCSC while working with our new superintendent. I want to thank her for her tireless service over the last four years.
