Mr. and Mrs. Bobby and Dorla Smith of County Road 800N, North Vernon, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 5.
Mr. Smith and the former Dorla Everroad were married Feb. 5, 1967, at Elizabethtown Methodist Church by the Rev. Ivan Blaine Emily.
Mr. Smith is retired from Cummins Engine, but he still farms.
Mrs. Smith is a homemaker, helps her husband farm and plays music at Pleasant View United Methodist Church.

The couple have two children, Connie Smith of Florida and Vickie Smith of North Vernon. They also have two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
