Laura Marie Welch, 93, of Seymour, formerly of North Vernon, died at 5:14 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service in North Vernon. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery.
She is survived by one son, James Gary Welch of North Vernon; and one granddaughter.
Laura was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Welch; and one son, Charles William Welch.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Graham Baptist Church or Shrine Hospital Transportation Fund.
