» Which elementary and middle schools did you attend?

I attended Rockcreek Elementary School and Northside Middle School.

» What is your favorite class or part of the school day and why?

I’m extremely fortunate to have wonderful teachers who are passionate about teaching and make all of my classes enjoyable.

» In which extracurricular activities, including music, sports and clubs, do you participate?

I am a starting varsity defender and captain on the Columbus East women’s soccer team, as well as a player for the Columbus Express Soccer Club. At school, I am president of Key Club, secretary of National Honor Society, a member of National Art Honor Society, a member of Columbus East Interact Club, co-president of French Honor Society, a student leader for Campus Life, a member of the Fellowship of Christian Students, a student-athlete on the Columbus East Athletic Advisory Board. Outside of school I do ballet at Dancers Studio, am a Big with Big Brothers Big Sisters, am on the Teen Advisory Board at the Bartholomew County Public Library and am a member of Exhibit Columbus’ BCSC Design Team.

» When you’re not in school, where is your favorite place to be and why?

I love being at the public library, because the atmosphere is so quiet and peaceful and makes me happy.

» What has been your greatest high school memory so far and why?

Setting up a tent in the school parking lot and picnicking in it for lunch with my friends, because we had so much fun and it was such a unique experience.

» What are you looking forward to after graduation and why?

I am so excited about all of the new opportunities to try to new things and meet new people!

» Who in your life inspired you or whom do you look up to and why?

My life is amazing, especially my parents and grandparents, and they are constantly inspiring me. Also, Mrs. (Michelle) Burnett, the Key Club adviser, is a constant source of inspiration to me. Last, but certainly not least, I have a group of amazing friends who are always encouraging me and I would not be where I am without them.

» What is the most important thing you’ve learned during or from high school?

Attitude is everything, so make sure it’s a good one!
