The fourth annual Aviation Day at Columbus Municipal Airport seemed to have everything to attract a good crowd and educate and entertain attendees. Blue skies and warm weather made being outside enjoyable for the 7,500 who attended — a record for the event. A variety of airplanes and helicopters on display allowed attendees to see them up close and even get inside. Two air shows showcased the acrobatic abilities of airplanes. And a car show, bounce house for kids and food added to the fun. Here’s another look at Aviation Day.
