Centerstone hosting open house

Centerstone is hosting a public open house Nov. 14 to provide information about the organization’s programs that involve research-based mental health and addiction services in Bartholomew County.

The open house will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Centerstone, 720 N. Marr Road in Columbus. Among Centerstone’s programs are crisis services, suicide prevention, jail-based programs, veterans services, residential and services for homeless individuals, school and family-based counseling, foster care, adoption and working with the Alliance for Substance Abuse Program.

Centerstone has served more than 4,000 adults and 1,000 children in Bartholomew County, said Lyn Morgan, Centerstone’s annual giving manager.

The program will be interactive with Centerstone therapists and counselors, along with clients, sharing information through displays and question and answer sessions.
