Harris led the Bull Dogs with nine catches for 162 yards and two touchdowns Friday in a 20-14 sectional-final loss at Center Grove.

His performance last week: “When (quarterback) Trenton (Kelley) went down (with an injury) I knew that somebody had to step up and make plays. I figured that I’m a senior and I had to step up as a leader, so I had to make plays.”

Do you do anything special to prepare? “I usually just go get some food after school from Tropical Smoothie, and then before the game I just listen to music and get my head right.”

Favorite drink: “During the game I like to drink strawberry banana Body Armor. ”

Favorite food: “Buffalo chicken wrap from Tropical Smoothie”

Favorite book: “My favorite book series was probably the Hunger Games.”

Favorite class: “Personal Financial Responsibilities”

Role model: “I look up to my big brother (Tyler Thompson) a lot. My big brother is my role model. ”

Best advice: “Go 100 percent in anything that you’re doing whether it be school, a drill or a game; just so you know that you left it all out there and you gave it your best.”

Athletics goal: “I’d like to go to Northern Illinois next year and play (football) as a freshman.”

If you could travel anywhere: “Probably Europe because there is just so much that you can do there and their food over there is really good.”

Sarah Tedder, Hauser senior volleyball player

Tedder led the Jets with 17 digs and also recorded four kills Saturday in a three-set loss to Lafayette Central Catholic in the Class A state finals.

Her performance last week: “Practice went really well, like it normally does, and come Saturday, we were really excited. I can always play better, but I tried to step up and play the best that I could.”

Do you do anything special to prepare? “Normally during the national anthem, I pray and say the words.”

Favorite drink: “Big Red”

Favorite food: “Pasta”

Favorite book: “I love the ‘Selection Series’”

Favorite class: “Government”

Role model: “I really look up to my mom (Tabetha Tedder) for sure. She’s one of my biggest role models.”

Best advice: “To keep a positive attitude, and whenever a mistake happens, to move onto the next play and focus on what’s ahead.”

Athletics goal: “To play to my full potential every single game.”

If you could travel anywhere: “Fiji, because the water looks beautiful, and it seems like a really cool place to go.”
