Jon and Sheila Carr of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, formerly of Columbus, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a cruise, and will have a family celebration in November in Indianapolis.
Mr. Carr and his wife, the former Sheila Wilson, were married Nov. 11, 1967, at First Baptist Church, by Jon’s grandfather, the Rev. William B. Jenkins.
He retired in 2012 from Product Engineering Co.
She is a homemaker.
They have one daughter, Wendy (Aaron) Joslin of Columbus; and one grandson.
