Robert Lynn “Bob” Eddelman

COLUMBUS

Robert “Bob” Lynn Eddelman, 56, of Columbus, passed away at 6:47 p.m. Sunday, November 12, 2017, at I.U. Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Bob was born December 7, 1960, in Columbus to Joyce L. (Poore) Eddelman Goldsmith.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran and graduated from Columbus North High School in 1979.

He was employed by OSI (Oncology Services International).

Bob’s nickname was “Hot Tub Bob,” and he enjoyed boating, outdoor activities and watching his Dallas Cowboys.

Calling hours will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 19, 2017, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with military honors by the Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard, with cremation following visitation.

He is survived by two daughters, Alicia Eddelman and Jennifer Eddelman; two brothers, Paul (Patty) Leon Eddelman of Elizabethtown and John Arthur (Beth) Haddix of Indianapolis; sisters, Gale Lynn Carnahan of Columbus, Lisa (John) Zeigler of Columbus, Jonra (Stacy) Smith of Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce L. (Poore) Eddelman Goldsmith and his grandmother, Hazel Poore.
