Frank A. Reuss

Frank A. Reuss, 91, of Taylor Road, passed away surrounded by his family on January 19, 2018, at Four Seasons Retirement Center.

Frank was born May 11, 1926, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Frank E. and Georgietta Sheridan Reuss.

He was a WW II Navy veteran and was deployed in both the Atlantic and Pacific theaters. He attended Northwestern University and had a successful business career at Link-Belt Company, FMC Corporation, and a principal in PT Components.

He retired in Sarasota, Florida, where he assumed many community leadership positions including president of the Meadows Community Association. Frank was also a member of the County Commission Development Committee where he was instrumental in the development of the Cattleman Road Complex in Sarasota County. He was a member of the Columbus Rotary and a parishioner of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, January 22, 2018, at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church with Father Clem Davis officiating. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the Four Seasons Chapel. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Indianapolis.

Survivors include his children, James (Faye) Reuss of Dublin, Ohio, Diane (Jim) Stafford of Hope, Indiana, Linda (Mark) Pfleiger of Colchester, Illinois, and Karen (Bob) Rutigliano of Carmel, Indiana; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Shirley Mae Reuss; and second wife, Phyllis Jean Reuss.
