Columbus native ties for 24th in PGA Tour event
Tyler Duncan fired a final-round 69 Sunday to finish in a tie for 24th in the PGA Honda Classic.
The 2008 Columbus North graduate had rounds of 70, 74, 70 and 69 at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, to finish at 3-over-par 283. He earned $54,780 for his efforts.
Justin Thomas beat Luke List on the first hole of a playoff to win the title after both had finished at 8-under 272. Tiger Woods finished 12th at even-par 280.
Central to host Tri-County wrestling tournament
Central Middle School will host the Tri-County junior high wrestling tournament at 9 a.m. Saturday. Doors will open at 7:45 a.m.
Admission is $5. Teams participating will be Central, Northside, Jennings County and Seymour.
