The fifth annual Crooners for CASA fundraiser will be 6:30 to 11 p.m. April 7 at The Commons, 300 Washington St., Columbus.
Conducted the first week of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, the event raises money for Columbus-based Advocates for Children, which provides training for and oversees the work of volunteer court-appointed special advocates (CASAs).
That night’s schedule is as follows.
6:30 to 7:30 p.m.: Social hour with cash bar and hors d’oeuvres
7:30 to 9 p.m.: Karaoke competition
9:00 to 11 p.m.: Results and awards, open mic and dancing
Cost is $50 apiece for first-come, first-serve seating, or $450 for a guaranteed table of eight.
The ticket includes heavy hors d’oeuvres; a cash bar will be available.
