Two best friends finished their high school gymnastics career with memorable experiences.
Columbus East senior Adi Minor captured state titles on the vault and bars, after having been co-champion on the bars last year. Minor tied for second with Columbus North senior and best friend Claire Thompson in all-around, and Thompson won the prestigious Mental Attitude Award.
The Bull Dogs finished third in the team competition, and the Olympians were fourth, behind No. 1 Chesterton and runner-up Valparaiso.
