Dr. Ben Chastain, a Republican candidate for State Representative District 59, has dropped out of a large Republican field of candidates seeking to become the nominee to replace retiring Rep. Milo Smith, R-Columbus, the county confirmed today.
Chastain is dropping out of a crowded field, which includes six Republicans including John D. Counceller, JoAnn Flohr, Ryan Lauer, Allen K. Smith II and Lew Wilson.
