• Sandy Hammons for her letter to the editor Saturday regarding who is really to blame for the horrible shooting at a Florida high school as she spells it out perfectly.

• the sales lady who signed me up, found items for me and checked me out with all the benefits at Harbor Freight on Sunday afternoon from a handicapped, first-time shopper.

• the generous man who paid for the two Columbus North students’ meals at Dairy Queen on Sunday night when they least expected it.

• Dave Kromphardt and all of the folks at First Lutheran Church who made the two presentations of “The Living Last Supper” possible.

• the men at Memorial Baptist Church who helped the lady with the rock stuck under the van.

• Dell Brothers, Lockett’s Ladies Shop, Kohl’s, Kroger and First United Methodist Church for their help with the senior project that made a difference for five different nonprofits.

• all my family and friends for my cards and gift and grandchildren for my wonderful 100th birthday party, from Mary Perry.

Onions to …

• those who control the Indiana General Assembly with a super majority and still couldn’t pass key legislative necessities.

• folks who keep saying we should honor the Second Amendment when it was written when black people were considered worth only three-fifths the value of white people.

• those running the stop signs in Mineral Springs and turning out onto County Road 250E in front of other cars.

• those using young children to push anti-gun agenda when the goal is to take away our rights.

• protesters for trying to convince us it’s about safety when it’s really about confiscating all guns.

• a certain political party for using those with little life experience to advance their agenda.

• the person who turned their tame rabbit loose.

• people whining for stricter gun laws, who might be happier in Cuba where the government took guns from all the citizens.

• the driver of a black pick-up truck using his emergency flashers, recklessly endangering motorists on West State Road 46 at rush hour.

• those who don’t realize that little snow event was worth at least 4 inches of wet slushy snow, which made roads absolutely treacherous at only 35 mile per hour roads, even the main roads.
