Indiana’s 6th U.S. congressional district is in desperate need of a strong candidate to stand up to the Republican machine – the same out-of-state, billionaire-funded political monstrosity that elected Mike Pence, Luke Messer and Todd Young.
When I first heard Jim Pruett speak at a Ball State Democrats meeting last October, I realized that he was that candidate. Jim spoke to each person as if he had known them for years. Honestly, he could have known them as he has operated his small business in most counties of the district for 30 years.
Beyond just being open and friendly, Jim is an experienced attorney with expert understanding of complex issues ranging from net neutrality to college debt, health insurance to the Second Amendment.
And just as importantly, since he launched his campaign last fall he has been willing to put in countless hours of work that will be needed to mount a winning grassroots campaign against the seemingly unbeatable Republican machine.
