COLUMBUS
Maurice Dean Bohall, 75, of Columbus, died at 3:05 a.m. Thursday, April 26, 2018 at his residence.
Maurice was born October 15, 1942, in Brown County, Indiana, the son of Otis and Vernis L. Deckard Bohall.
Mr. Bohall drove a truck for several years for Doug Day Trucking. He also owned a painting company in Florida before moving back to Indiana. Maurice enjoyed playing his guitar, singing Hank Williams songs and mushroom hunting.
Survivors include his son, Doyle Bohall; brothers, Dale (Eileen) Bohall of Florida, James (Mildred) Bohall of Seymour; and 5 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Theresa; and brother, Lowell.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Reverend Glenn Poynter officiating. Family and friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Daugherty Cemetery.
