Lancers no-hit Tigers
CROTHERSVILLE — Zach Murphy and Colton Henderson combined on a five-inning no-hitter to lead Edinburgh to a 12-0 win at Crothersville.
Murphy struck out seven and walked four in four innings before leaving so he could pitch against Mooresville on Friday. Henderson struck out one in the fifth.
Tavian Cosby went 2 for 3 with two RBIs, and Murphy went 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs to lead the Lancers (9-7) at the plate. Parker Bryant added a double and three RBIs.
Eagles run-rule Cougars
NASHVILLE — Jake Riehl threw a three-hitter to lead Brown County to a 12-2 five-inning win against South Decatur.
John Wayne Zeigler went 2 for 2 with three RBIs for the Eagles (6-13). Justin Partyka went 2 for 4 with three RBIs, Isaiah Luenebrink and J.T. Parry each went 2 for 4 and Isaac Weddle had two RBIs.
Devon Martin had two RBIs for the Cougars (4-11).
Batesville nips Hauser
BATESVILLE — Class A No. 1 Hauser was held to three hits in a 2-1 loss at Batesville
Aaron Mee, Alex Patingill and Parker Eickbush combined on a four-hitter for the Jets (13-7).
Trinity topples Salem
SEYMOUR — Trinity Lutheran scored seven times in the final three innings to rally from a 7-1 deficit and post an 8-7 win against Salem.
Jake VonDielingen and Reid Kruse each had two hits for the Cougars (9-7-1). Tyler Goecker pitched the final three innings to pick up the win.

Crusaders fall just short
INDIANAPOLIS — Columbus Christian scored seven times in the seventh inning, but fell one run short in an 18-17 loss at Horizon Christian.
Kayla Jones went 4 for 5 with two RBIs, and Hannah Stair went 3 for 5 with three RBIs for the Crusaders (2-3), who outhit the Lions 16-14. Kayden Hofelich went 2 for 3 with two RBIs, Savannah Herron and Adrianne Tallent each went 2 for 4 with two RBIs and Ellie Ridder had a triple and two RBIs.
Eagles rally past Lancers
EDINBURGH — Brown County trailed 1-0 after five innings, but scored seven runs with two out in the sixth and added two in the seventh to claim a 9-1 win at Class A No. 8 Edinburgh.
Taylor Poling’s two-run homer sparked the seven-run sixth for the Eagles (12-3). Allison Stogsdill went 3 for 4 with two doubles, Adri Kritzer went 2 for 4 with a double, Aubrey Hollander went 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs and Emma Summers had a home run and threw a four-hitter with 16 strikeouts.
Sidney Beier went 3 for 3 with a first-inning homer for the Lancers (11-5).

Bull Dogs fall to No. 1
No. 14 Columbus North had a couple of match points at No. 1 doubles against No. 1 Carmel, but the Greyhounds managed a 5-0 victory.
Yijiang Zhao fell to Laren Lemonds 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, Shweta Srinivasan lost to Liela Antony 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 singles and Jaline Tay fell to Apurva Manas 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles for the Bull Dogs (8-5).
North’s Madelyn Sanders and Eva Chevalier lost to Sydney Morris and Emma Brune 6-3, 6-7 (6), 7-5 at No. 1 doubles. Mariana Martinez and Cassidy May fell to Julia Miller and Grace Movchsc 7-5, 6-0 at No. 2 doubles.
Jets down Braves
TRAFALGAR — Hauser pulled out close wins at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles to claim a 4-1 win at Indian Creek.
Alana Owen beat Katie Burkman 7-6, 7-6 at No. 1 singles, and Madie Sherman downed Ali Harris 6-3, 6-4at No. 2 singles for the Jets (7-3). Sarah Tedder and Abby Johnson topped Mya Piccone and McKenzie Hunter 4-6, 6-0, 7-5 at No. 1 doubles, and Kylie Lock and Melanie Taylor beat Brooke Coy and Julia Sheets 6-3, 6-0 at No. 2 doubles.
Hauser’s Maddy Archer fell to Addie Rund 7-6, 6-2 at No. 3 singles.

NASHVILLE — Brown County won both doubles matches, but Martinsville swept the singles matches for a 3-2 victory.
Hallee Miller and Jacey Ferguson beat Ali Wilt and Kaylee Elmore 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles for the Eagles (5-9). Baelyn Koester and Leah Tucker downed Hannah O’Dell and Olivia Ostler 6-0, 4-6, 6-0 at No. 2 doubles.
Brown County’s Julia Williams fell to Maggie Viewegh 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, Cassidy Davis lost to Ali Vieweigh 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 singles and Olivia Baughman fell to Sydney Smith 6-4, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.
Jackets clip Lancers
MORRISTOWN — Edinburgh won both doubles matches, but Morristown swept the singles matches to pull out a 3-2 Mid-Hoosier Conference win.
Haven Link and Destiney Ramey beat Hailey Dunham and Brooklyn Langkabel 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1 doubles for the Lancers. Anneliese Lollar and Katie Roberts topped Gabby Ibarra and Kirsten Payne 6-4, 6-1 at No. 2 doubles.
Edinburgh’s Haley Jones fell to Kenzie Logan 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, Sophia Parmer lost to Alayna Munson 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles and Paige Johnson fell to Patience Wood 6-2, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.
Salem tops Trinity
SEYMOUR — Trinity Lutheran won the No. 1 singles match, but Salem took the other four in a 4-1 victory.
Courtney Barker won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1 singles for the Cougars (5-8). Abby Schult fell 6-2, 6-1 at No. 2 singles, Lauren Voss lost 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 singles, Macey Prewitt and Lauren Fleetwood fell 6-1, 7-5 at No. 1 doubles and Cassidy Burnside and Katelyn Mensendiek lost 6-4, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.
BOYS GOLF
Panthers take second
SEYMOUR — Jennings County finished second in a tri match at Shadowood. Floyd Central won with a 157 to 167 for the Panthers and 171 for Seymour.
Austin Roscoe led Jennings with a 39. Bryce Kirchner carded a 40, Adam Leach added a 43, Hunter Conrad shot 45, Joe Kelly had a 52 and Justin Gasper finished with a 53.
