COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Bartholomew County Highway Department estimates that it will be able to open County Road 800S Road in about two weeks.
Concrete was poured for the bridge Wednesday and the contractor said it would take approximately a week to cure. Then, both approaches to the bridge and the guardrail will be put in place, said Shannan Hinton, Bartholomew County Emergency Management director.
All work is weather permitting, Hinton added.
