The Gridiron Monstars beat Hard Up 32-12 for the championship Sunday in the Columbus Flag Football spring league.
Gridiron Monstars edged Fraiser Chiro and MVP 14-12, and Hard Up downed On Tap 27-19 in the semifinals. Frasier Chiro and MVP beat Shockers 50-6 in the opening round.

Irish post victories
St. Bartholomew downed Our Lady of Greenwood 185-193 Wednesday at Dye’s Walk.
Willy Davis led the Irish with a 40. Jack Schiavello added a 47, John Merritt and Spencer Erfmeier each shot 49 and John Ferguson had a 53.
St. Bartholomew was coming off a 190-205 win against Seymour at Shadowood. Davis was medalist with a 43 and was followed by Merritt with a 48, Ferguson and Schiavello with 50s, Erfmeier with a 51 and Pete Coriden with a 54.
Chargers top Panthers
Central’s boys posted a 138-157 win against Jennings County.
Brett Silvey tied for medalist honors with a 32 to lead the Panthers. Tanner Stearns added a 40, Evan Sochacki shot 42 and Drew Yeager had a 43.
Central’s girls carded a 182, while the Panthers had only two players. Jennings’ Sophia Curry carded a 42, and Bailey Kilgore had a 51.
Jennings used both boys and girls in its 10th-place finish with a 453 in the Jackson County Junior Invitational at Hickory Hills. Silvey led the Panthers with a 93, while Yeager carded a 117, Stearns added a 118, Curry shot 125 and Kilgore had a 133.
TRACK AND FIELD
Jennings splits with Owls
Jennings County split a meet against Seymour, with the Panther girls winning 80-25 and the boys falling 59-46.
Seven Painter won the shot put and finished second in the discus, and Taylor Mowery won the long jump and took second in the 100 meters to lead the Jennings girls.
For the boys, Lane Elsner won the 100 (12.2 seconds), 400 (57.9) and 200 (25.7). Logan McIntosh took the 1,600 (5:28) and 800 (2:27). Jonah Matthews captured the 100 hurdles (17.3), and the Panthers won the 4×800 (10:24) and 4×400 (4:08) relays.
PRO WRESTLING
HPW hosts ‘Destruction’
Hoosier Pro Wrestling hosted Derby Day Destruction last weekend at the Bartholomew County 4-H Fairgrounds.
Ace Jackson beat Scarecrow and Tim Lutz to win the HPW Cruiserweight title. Kenny Kage beat Drax O’Brien to keep the HPW Heavyweight title. Cody Hawk pinned The War Machine.
Richard Sharkey pinned Shawna Reed to keep the HPW Intergender Belt, with help from Tim Lutz. Vic The Bruiser vs. Omega Pit Bull was thrown out by the referee.
Dinnen Swango and Buck Sexton beat Mad Dog and Fireball to keep the HPW Tag Belts win Mad Dog was pinned. Swango and Sexton were attacked by War Machine and Fireball, setting up a match for HPW Tag Belts on June 2.
Flash Flanagan pinned Butcher Manson with special referee Duke The Nuke returning to HPW.
HPW will return on June 2 and Jun 30 at the Aaron’s lot with the annual canned food drive.
