Columbus Regional Hospital Foundation completed a record-breaking hospital employee campaign in which employees pledged or donated more than $35,000.

Bartholomew County Commissioners went on record as continuing to favor an incinerator operation as the best means of solving the local problem of disposing of trash and garbage. and made plans to have several representatives of incinerator manufacturing companies attend the next meeting to explain costs and present other information about the disposal method.
