Bartholomew County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a local driver after observing her vehicle run a stop sign at West County Road 650N and North Main Street in Taylorsville.
Deputy Matt Bush made a traffic stop and identified the driver as Kesha M. Froedge, 27, Taylorsville, deputies said.
Froedge was not wearing a seat belt and a heavy odor of marijuana was coming from inside her vehicle, deputies said.
When deputies searched the vehicle, they found methamphetamine, a glass pipe, marijuana, a marijuana pipe and two cut straws with residue, deputies aid.
Froedge was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, deputies said.
She was also cited for disregarding a stop sign and not using a seat belt, jail officials said.
