Columbus police arrested a local man wanted on six warrants after he was located inside a Columbus home.
Officers were sent to the residence in the 2700 block of Poplar Drive at 10:45 Wednesday after receiving an anonymous tip about the man being there. Officers found Joshua K. Atkinson, 23, Columbus, inside, said Lt. Matt Harris, Columbus Police Department spokesman.
Atkinson was arrested on warrants for battery with bodily injury, violation of probation, unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle, resisting law enforcement, possession of marijuana and battery with bodily injury, Harris said.
