A Columbus native has announced his candidacy for Jefferson Circuit Court judge.
Jefferson County Chief Deputy Prosecutor D.J. Mote has served in the prosecutor’s office since 2007. He graduated from the Indiana University McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis.
Mote is running as a Republican and will oppose Democratic Judge Darrell M. Auxier.
