Local students named to Dean’s list at schools
The following students have been named to Dean’s lists at their schools:
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology: Mitchell Kelley, Columbus.
Purdue University: Emily Verwers, Columbus.
Indiana State University: Emily Boxler, Brock Grewie, Katelyn Herrick, Kary Homer, Bethay McCarty, Ariel Petrie, Ian Pittman, Olivia Stewart, Madeline Swiam, Cori Taylor and Faith Williams, Columbus; Amber Compton, Andrew Kujawski and Leslie Sims, Hope.
IUPUC plans student orientation this week
IUPUC will have orientation for new students on Friday.
Check-in begins at 7:45 a.m. at the Columbus Learning Center, 4555 Central Ave., in the lecture hall/auditorium area with orientation planned from 8:20 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Individuals are asked to bring a photo ID, which is necessary in order to receive a university ID.
