Traffic stop leads to arrest of 2 local men on drug charges

COLUMBUS, Ind. —

Two Columbus men are in the Bartholomew County Jail on preliminary felony drug charges after a traffic stop led to their arrests.

Isaiah A. Perry, 30, of 638 1/2 Seventh St., is in jail on charges of possession of a legend drug injection device (Level 6 felony), possession of methamphetamine (Level 6 felony) and possession of drug paraphernalia (Class C misdemeanor). He is being held in lieu of $118,500 bond, according to jail officials.

Jacob A. Burch, 27, of 1443 Franklin St., is in jail on charges of obstruction of justice (Level 6 felony), possession of methamphetamine (Level 6 felony) and possession of drug paraphernalia (Class A misdemeanor). He is being held in lieu of $70,000 bond, according to jail officials.
