COLUMBUS
June D. Fiesbeck, 89, of Columbus, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at 8:29 a.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at her home.
June was born June 25, 1929, in Bartholomew County, the daughter of Mallie and Gertrude Wilber Moore.
On March 13, 1949, she married Robert Fiesbeck. He preceded her in death on January 14, 2002.
Survivors include her children, Gregory J. (Joshanda) Fiesbeck of Columbus and Kathleen (Dana) Kitch-Goodman of Williamsport; grandchildren, Kylie (A.J.) Weddle of Fort Knox, Kentucky, Colin (Jackie) Fiesbeck of Fishers, Cory (Lynn) Kitch of Durango, Colorado, Gabriel Kitch of Sellersburg, Ian (Kirkly) Kitch of Amelia Island, Florida; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Dean Wiseman and Jerry “Doc” Moore, sister, Patty Rutan; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; aunt and uncle, Everett and Martha Wiseman; brothers, Laverne Moore, Charles Moore, Mallie Moore Jr., and sisters, Doris Lykins, Audrey Moore, Karyn Wiseman and Adrienne Wiseman.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2018 at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Rev. Patrick Galligar officiating. Family and friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Section 80 at Garland Brook Cemetery.
