Paris Crossing woman arrested after suspicious person report

Columbus police arrested a Paris Crossing woman on several drug-related charges after receiving a report of a suspicious person in a vehicle in the 700 block of Whitfield Drive.

Officers located the woman at about 9:10 p.m. Monday and identified her as Kimberly R. Kirk, 44, Paris Crossing, said Lt. Matt Harris, Columbus Police Department spokesman.

Officers determined that Kirk had an active Bartholomew County warrant for her arrest and she was taken into custody, Harris said.

While searching Kirk’s purse, the officers found several syringes along with methamphetamine and cocaine, Harris said.

Kirk was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a legend drug injection device and the warrant.
