The Indiana University School of Art, Architecture + Design J. Irwin Miller Architecture Program is presenting a free, two-day conference, "Applications + Implications," Saturday and Sunday at The Republic Building, 333 Second St. in downtown Columbus.
The conference, open to the public, will focus on the transformative power of innovations in 3-D printing and fabrications through experimentation with new materials, methods and more.

The event is made possible through support from the Indiana University College Arts & Humanities Institute and the Ostrom Grants Program through the Indiana University College of Arts + Sciences. This event is free and open to the public.
Speakers range from John Rupp of Cummins Inc. to university and arts leaders nationwide.
Panelists range from Rupp and Phillip Shelton of Cummins Inc. to Steven Baker, shop coordinator of the locally based architecture program.
