COLUMBUS
Kevin R. Hatton, 55, of Columbus, passed from this life at 4:36 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Mr. Hatton was employed at Sonoco Flexible Packaging for the past 14 1/2 years as a Die Cutter.
Kevin was an outdoor enthusiast and enjoyed hunting.
Mr. Hatton was born February 12, 1963 in Columbus, the son of Keith and Wilma Mobley Hatton.
He married Betty J. Shannon on April 23, 1994.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years; daughters, Andrea (Michael) Powell of Marietta and Melinda (Michael) Parks of Edinburgh; grandchildren, Landon Michael Powell, Makayla Burton and Gracelynn Parks; brothers, Jerald (Adrienne) Hatton of Columbus, Gary (Kathy) Hatton of Columbus and Darrell Hatton of North Vernon; sister, Cheryl Hubbard of Kentucky; a niece, Amanda (Sam) Kenfield of Flat Rock; great-niece, Emma Kenfield; and great-nephews, Matthew Kenfield, Nathan Kenfield and Sawyer Kenfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street.
Family and friends may call from 10:30 a.m. to time of service.
Burial will be at Flat Rock Cemetery in Flat Rock.
