COLUMBUS
Jeannette Susan Gentry, 62, of Columbus, passed from this life at 1:40 a.m. Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Jeannette was a Sales Clerk with Zales Jewelry Store and for several years was employed in Retail.
She had a love for animals, especially her dogs, Mollie and Pixie.
Jeannette was born November 30, 1956 in Washington, Indiana, the daughter of Robert E. and Hildegard Michelle Gentry.
Survivors include her father and mother, Robert and Mary Gentry of Columbus; a son, Jeff (Audra) Hollowell of Ohio; grandchildren, Hunter and Jordan Hollowell; brothers, Norman Gentry and his companion Tom of Orlando, Florida, Jerome (Kristie) Gentry of Indianapolis, Rob (Kristen) Gentry of Columbus and James Gentry of Columbus; nieces, Alexis Dixon of Columbus, Lilandra Gentry of Columbus and Brylie Gentry of Columbus; and her nephews, Dominick Gentry of Columbus, Destin Gentry of Columbus, Atticus Gentry of Columbus and Ollie Gentry of Columbus.
In keeping with Jeannette’s wishes, cremation is planned. Private inurnment will be at Bethel Baptist Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bartholomew County Humane Society, Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or American Cancer Society.
