City of Columbus
Offices will be closed the following dates in observance of the upcoming holidays:
- Today: Trash/recycling on schedule. Department of Public Works office closed and will reopen Wednesday.
- Tuesday: No trash/recycling pick-up, all collections will be delayed one day, with Friday’s collections on Saturday.
- Dec. 31: Trash/recycling on schedule. Department of Public Works office closed and will reopen Jan. 2.
- Jan. 1: No trash/recycling pick-up, all collections will be delayed one day, with Friday’s collections on Jan. 5.
Bartholomew County
Solid Waste Management office and recycling center, 720 S. Mapleton St., is closed today and Tuesday. The Bartholomew County Landfill, at 811 E. County Road 450S, will close at 1 p.m. Monday and be closed on Tuesday.
The Bartholomew County Courthouse and all county office buildings will be closed today and Tuesday, but will resume normal hours Wednesday. They also will be closed Dec. 31 and Jan. 1, but will resume normal hours Jan. 2.
The administrative offices of the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department will be closed today and Tuesday. Offices will reopen on Wednesday.
