Whether you’re using the DNA test kit you received for Christmas or you are doing research at ancestrial.com to find your family history, the Jennings County Public Library is offering a class to help.
The “Don’t Be a Name Collector” class will be conducted from 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday in the Genealogy Department at the library, 2375 State Road 3 North in North Vernon. The class is free and open to the public.
“The class will give some tips on how to get the most information about your family history from your research,” said Sheila Kell, the library’s genealogy director.
