North announces Scholastic art winners

The Columbus North High School Art Department announced its winners of the 2019 Scholastic Art and Writing Student Competition.

The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards honors teenagers in grades 7-12 with scholarships and a chance to have their works on display across the state.

Student art and writing pieces in the Central/Southern Indiana Art and Writing Region were judged in January at Butler University.

Columbus North students won a total of six Gold Keys, four Silver Keys, and six honorable mentions.

Digital Art: Fayth Bowman (Crothersville), Honorable Mention
