• Patti Grider at First Financial Bank for being so great to work with, from the Mitchells.

• Dr. Bergman and staff for the great care during my recent surgery, from a grateful patient.

• Kerry and Darryl for setting up my printer, because it was appreciated

• my good Christian brothers and sisters for the big favor they did for me that was appreciated, from a sister in the church who will pay it forward.

• Linda and Patty at Koopman’s family medicine for always going beyond the call of duty to make sure all patients receive the best of care.

Onions to …

• the mayor for choosing a virtually abandoned, decaying building to have the state of the city address in as it showcases the state of most of Columbus quite well.

• those with the tattered flag flying on the corner of two city streets.

• those who blame Trump for causing a divide when it was Obama who first caused a divide.

• those who want to make Columbus beautiful while they don’t do a thing about the vacant house that was gutted with fire and has trash all around the outside.

• those responsible for making the decision that is unfair to swine exhibitors at a county fair.

• those spouting off about the border when most haven’t visited a border state let alone lived in one.
