IUPUC to host film screening

The IUPUC Division of Liberal Arts will host a free screening of "Ghost Town to Havana" at noon March 5 in the Columbus Learning Center lecture hall.

The film’s director, Eugene Corr, will attend to answer questions at the free event, which is open to the public.

The 2015 film is about two coaches who are committed to bringing out the best in their youth baseball players. One coach vows to bring his players from a gang-ridden neighborhood in Oakland, California, to complete with the other coach’s team in Havana, Cuba.

The film won the Sebastopol Documentary Film Festival Audience Award.
