Sue Ann (Hofmann) Wallace, 72, of Columbus, died Friday, February 22 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
She was born in Terre Haute, Indiana to Hughie and Marjorie (Young) Hofmann.
Sue was a graduate of State High School (Indiana State University Laboratory School), Terre Haute. After high school Sue was employed at Indiana Bell Telephone.
Sue is survived by her husband Roger Wallace, Columbus, Indiana, son Greg (Liz) Ellis, Zionsville, Indiana, grandchildren Claire, Grady, and Augustus Ellis of Zionsville, Indiana, sister Vickie Hofmann Mixon (John, dec’d), Machesney Park, Illinois, Peggy Hofmann Harrold (Steve), West Terre Haute, Indiana, and Sally Hofmann Mayes (Cecil), Bloomingdale, Indiana, as well as 11 nieces and nephews.
Sue was preceded in death by her father Hughie Hofmann and her mother Marjorie Wirtz of Terre Haute, Indiana, and sister Lori Wirtz Evans, of Ocala, Florida.
Sue was an active member of New Hope Christian Church and enjoyed bike riding with her husband and spending time with her grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at New Hope Christian Church, 1404 NW 400 N, Columbus, Indiana on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 10:45 a.m.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana. Sue will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
