Carol June Gray, 81, of Columbus, died at 10:22 a.m. March 14, 2019, at Columbus Transitional Care and Rehabilitation.
Carol was born February 7, 1938, in Hope, the daughter of Clyde and Edna Barnes. She married the late Russell Dale Gray August 28, 1962.
She retired from Cummins Engine Co. and was a lover of all dogs. Her children and grandchildren were her life.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Calling will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Bartholomew County Humane Society in Carol’s name.
Survivors include her sons, Don I. Williams Jr. of Columbus and Gordon Troy Gray of Lafayette; grandchildren, Luke A. Williams, Ryan M. Williams and Victoria N. Gray; step-grandson, Brandon Johnson; and a great-grandson, Dominic A. Williams.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Russell; four brothers and three sisters; and a grandson, Tory Gray.
