COLUMBUS
Nancy A. Wichman, 79, of Columbus, passed from this life at 9:35 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Four Seasons Health Care Center.
Mrs. Wichman was born December 29, 1939 in Columbus, the daughter of Elmer and Minnie Arnholt Armuth.
Nancy retired from Irwin Management in 2000 after 18 years of service.
She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
Nancy married Don E. Wichman, September 1, 1968. He preceded her in death March 21, 1996.
Survivors include her daughters, Kim (Albert) O’Connor and Kari (Aaron) Spurgeon both of Columbus; grandchildren, Kylie O’Connor, Zack O’Connor, Jake O’Connor, Adam Spurgeon and Kate Spurgeon; brother, Frank (Janice) Armuth; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and her sister, Evelyn Tucker.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church with the Rev. Patrick Galligar officiating.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street and 10:00 a.m. to time of service Wednesday at the church.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
The family request that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Together We Live 2.0.
