Staff Reports
A Go-Solar Workshop is planned from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Bartholomew County Public Library’s Red Room.
Those who attend are asked to bring a recent utility bill and a 12-month report of energy consumption (in kilowatt hours — kWh) which is available for customers from Duke Energy or Bartholomew County REMC.
Solar equipment and options, detail costs and benefits will be discussed and there will be an opportunity to register for an estimate from the Columbus Community Solar Initiative vendor partner.
The Columbus Community Solar Initiative (CCSI) is a not-for-profit project of the local chapter of the Sierra Club and Energy Matters Community Coalition.
If planning to attend, RSVP columbussolarize info@gmail.com or 812-344-8825.
