Jets sweep Mohawks
HOPE — Class A co-No. 6 Hauser finished off a 11-1, five-inning win against Waldron in a suspended game, then routed the Mohawks 23-1 in five innings in the second game Wednesday to complete a Mid-Hoosier Conference sweep.
The first game resumed in middle of fourth. Sean Miller went 2 for 3 with two doubles, and Jackson Paradise went 2 for 3 with a double for the Jets. Trey Johnson and Parker Eickbush combined on a two-hitter.
In the second game, Will Trotter and Jacob Luken combined on a four-hitter for Hauser (8-3, 6-0). Kobe Meahl and Luken each went 2 for 3, and Trotter went 2 for 4 with a double. Johnson had three RBIs, and Paradise, Meahl and Aaron Mee all added two.
Braves top Eagles
NASHVILLE — Indian Creek broke open a close game by scoring five times in the fourth and went on to post a 12-9 Western Indiana Conference win at Brown County.
Bryce Walker went 2 for 4 with two RBIs for the Eagles (7-7, 2-2). John Wayne Ziegler went 2 for 4.

Eagles no-hit Braves
NASHVILLE — Emma Summers threw her fourth no-hitter of the season to lead Class 3A No. 9 Brown County to a 1-0 WIC win against Indian Creek.
Summers struck out 14 and did not walk a batter. The only Braves baserunner reached on an error.
The Eagles (15-0, 4-0) scored the game’s only run in the third on an RBI-double by Taylor Poling.
