Randall Lee Mosier, 65, of Columbus, died at 10:07 a.m. April 24, 2019, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Randy was born January 31, 1954, in Shelbyville, the son of Bobby Allen and Geraldine Lorraine Meyer Mosier. He married Jennifer A. Bierlein May 12, 1995.
He retired from Cummins Engine Company April 1, 2019, after 46 1/2 years of service where he served as shop steward for the Diesel Workers Union for many years.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren along with working in the yard, watching I.U. basketball and the Indianapolis Colts.
The funeral will be conducted at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Ronnie Hampton officiating. Calling will be 3 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. with a rosary service led by Deacon Bill Jones to begin at 6:45 p.m. Private family inurnment will be at Garland Brook Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or CASA.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer; mother, Geraldine “Jerri” Young of Seymour; children, Ryan (Jennie) Mosier of Carmel, Jeremy (Nikki) Brooks of Columbus, Wendy Brooks of Indianapolis and Jeff Brooks of Columbus; brother, Michael (Susan) Mosier of Lexington, Kentucky, and a sister, Karen (Jim) Ludeman of Columbus; and grandchildren Kane Fergason, Phoebe, Piper and Haley Parks, Bella Brooks, Collin Brooks and Abigail and Fiona Mosier.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Mosier; and a brother, Terry Mosier.
