Walker welcomes student pages at Statehouse

Ten students from Columbus were among 12 total that state Sen. Greg Walker, R-Columbus, welcomed recently to the Statehouse. The students served as Senate pages in March and April.

They were:

Addie Hearn, ABC-Stewart School

Rashell Jaehnke, ABC-Stewart School

Adam Kolomaznik, Columbus Signature Academy- New Tech High School

Sarah Morales, ABC-Stewart School

Lillian Phillips, ABC-Stewart School

Matilda Zetterlund, ABC-Stewart School

Pages spend a day at the Statehouse, touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senators.

Students in Grades 6 through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session. Groups serve on Wednesdays.
