Duncan still in second place in Byron Nelson Classic

Tyler Duncan fired a second-round 5-under-par 66 Friday and remains in a tie for second place at the midway point of the AT&T Byron Nelson Classic.

Duncan, a 2008 Columbus North graduate, had an opening-round 64 on Thursday at Trinity Forest Golf Club in Dallas, Texas. Friday, He had six birdies and one bogey on his way to a 32 on the front nine and a 34 on the back.

Duncan is tied with Matt Every at 12-under 130, four shots behind Sung Kang, who shot 61 on Friday. Two-time major winner Brooks Koepka is fourth at 11-under 131, and Rory Sabbatini is fifth at 10-under 132. Three-time major winner Jordan Spieth is tied for 10th at 7-under 135.
