North holds off Fishers
FISHERS — With Class 4A No. 5 Columbus North leading 8-7 and facing Fishers runners on second and third with one out in the bottom of the seventh, Parker Maddox came to the mound to induce a groundout and a popup to preserve the victory.
The Class 4A No. 5 Bull Dogs (18-5) built a 6-0 lead with Casper Clark on the mound. But the Tigers rallied against two other North pitchers before Maddox put out the fire.
Grant Trinkle went 4 for 4 with a triple and two RBIs, and Adam Chapman went 3 for 4 with two doubles for the Bull Dogs. Maddox went 3 for 4, Kyler McIntosh went 2 for 4 with a double and Austin Bode went 2 for 4.
Jets clinch title share
MORRISTOWN — Kameron Lawson and Will Trotter combined on a two-hitter, and Class A No. 5 Hauser clinched at least a share of the Mid-Hoosier Conference title with a 21-0, five-inning win at Morristown.
Jacob Luken went 4 for 4 with six RBIs for the Jets (14-4, 10-0). Jackson Paradise went 2 for 4 with a double, Kobe Meahl went 2 for 4, Sean Miller went 2 for 5 with two doubles and three RBIs, Trey Johnson went 2 for 5 Will Trotter had four RBIs and Frankie Poole added a double and two RBIs.
Lancers edge Mohawks
WALDRON — Coltan Henderson threw a six-hitter and struck out 15 to lead Edinburgh to a 4-3, eight-inning MHC win at Waldron.
Bryce Burton went 3 for 4 for the Lancers (5-13, 4-7). Zach Giles went 2 for 4 with a double.
Cougars run-rule Spartans
SHELBYVILLE — Trinity Lutheran built a 10-0 lead after 3 1/2 innings and went on to post a 13-3 win at Southwestern (Shelby).
Tyler Goecker had three hits, including a double and a triple, and two RBIs; Jack Marksberry had two hits, including a home run, and three RBIs; and Hunter Morgan added two hits for the Cougars (10-8). Lawson Woods threw a six-hitter.

Jets blank Yellow Jackets
MORRISTOWN — Hunter Crain and Stephanie Meek combined on a one-hitter to lead Hauser to a 16-0, five-inning MHC win against Morristown.
Shelby Fugate went 2 for 3 with three RBIs for the Jets (6-11, 4-3). Hunter Crain went 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs, Kristin Keith had a double and two RBIs and Abby Branum added two RBIs.
Lancers rout Mohawks
WALDRON — Taylor Littiken and Sidney Beier combined on a three-hitter, and Edinburgh pounded out 20 hits in a 19-7 MHC win at Waldron.
Emma Wade went 4 for 4 with a triple, and Beier went 3 for 5 with two triples and four RBIs to lead the offense for the Lancers (12-10, 8-1). Littiken went 3 for 4 with two RBIs, Paige Burton went 3 for 5 with a double and two RBIs, Catey Streeval went 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs, Carly Cowan went 2 for 6 with a triple and three RBIs and Morgan Calhoun had two RBIs.
Chargers topple Cougars
GREENSBURG — North Decatur took advantage of six South Decatur errors in a 17-2 MHC decision.
The Cougars (2-12, 2-6) were limited to three hits.

Panthers nip Trojans
NORTH VERNON — Jennings County pulled out a pair of three-set wins in claiming a 3-2 win against East Central.
Hailey Brown beat Maddie Richter 2-6, 7-6 (5), 7-5 at No. 3 singles for the Panthers (10-6). Callie Wilder and Liz Ertel downed Abby Bischoff and Brooke Stonefield 6-4, 6-2 at No. 1 doubles, and Courtney Lykins and Abigail DeCamp topped Grace Kraus and Rachel Kraus 6-3, 1-6, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.
Jennings’ Ellie Hearne fell to Heidi Kane 6-3, 6-0 at No. 1 singles. Reagan Brown lost to Maddison Davidson 6-2, 6-1 at No. 2 singles.
Lancers fall to Braves
BROWNSTOWN — Edinburgh pulled out a three-set win at No. 2 singles, but Brownstown Central took the other four matches to claim a 4-1 victory.
Destiney Ramey beat Maggie Hogan 6-7 (3), 7-6 (5), (11-9) at No. 2 singles for the Lancers (2-13).
Edinburgh’s Haley Jones fell to Olivia Hackman 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, and Sophia Parmer lost to Riley Roberts 7-5, 6-4 at No. 3 singles. Haven Link and Emily Chappelow fell to Rachel Adkins and Carly Brown 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles, and Bethany Burton and Katie Roberts lost to Abbe Reynolds and Hannah Hackman 6-4, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.
Spartans top Trinity
SHELBYVILLE — Trinity Lutheran won at No. 1 doubles, but that was all in a 4-1 loss at Southwestern (Shelby).
Lauren Fleetwood, Cassidy Burnside prevailed 7-6 (5), 6-4 at No. 1 doubles for the Cougars (5-11). Abby Schult fell 6-3, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, Sarah Lemming Lost 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2 singles, Regan Cain fell 6-3, 6-2 at No. 3 singles and Katelyn Mensendiek and Flossie Cooper lost 6-2, 6-7 (5), (10-7) at No. 2 doubles.

GREENWOOD — Bladen Hancock tied for medalist honors with a 43, but Edinburgh fell to Greenwood Christian Academy 181-230 at Smock.
Jordan Myers added a 57 for the Lancers. Travis Jones shot 60, and Parker Neumann had a 70.
