Darlene E. Robbins, 76, formerly of Columbus, passed away at 5:59 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2019 at memorial Hospital in South Bend.
Darlene was born July 23, 1942, in Batesville, Indiana, the daughter of Herbert and Vera Gull Krinhop. On June 3, 1961, she married Charles E. Robbins.
Mrs. Robbins worked in customer service at Sears and in her later years was a florist, following her passion of arranging flowers.
Survivors include her son, Glenn (Amy) Robbins of Scipio; daughter, Kellie (Gregory) Dooley of North Liberty; daughter-in-law, Chrissy Sneed; grandchildren, Josh Ross, Chad Dooley, Rachel Robbins, Casey Dooley, Glenn Robbins, Jr., Taylor Clarkston, Bret Robbins, Madisyn Colwell; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Summer, Daisy, Autumn, Hannah, Destani, Bella, Paisley; brothers, Kenny (Mary) Krinhop of Florida, Dallas Krinhop of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles and son, Gale Robbins.
The funeral service will be conducted at 12 p.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Brian Gilroy officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
