Jacob Luken, Hauser senior baseball player
Luken went 4 for 4 with six RBIs and 4 for 4 with seven RBIs in 21-0 and 18-0 wins against Morristown, went 3 for 3 in a 13-0 win at Southwestern and threw a complete-game nine-hitter in Saturday’s 8-4 win at North Daviess.
His performance last week: “I just wanted to do well and step up for my team. My teammates put me in a lot of situations where I could succeed and get those RBIs, and I didn’t want to let them down.”

Jordan Johnston, Columbus East junior softball player
Johnston threw a four-hitter and went 3 for 4 with a game-winning walkoff double in the bottom of the seventh to lead the Olympians to a 3-2 win against Bloomington South.
Her performance last week: “I just was putting the ball in play and getting runners in scoring position or scoring them so that we could win the ballgame.”
Do you do anything special to prepare? “I just chill out and listen to music.”
