• the kind, honest person who turned in my lost credit card to the Kroger gas attendant on Friday, from Pat.

• Ayrika at Hertz for awesome help with the rental, because it’s greatly appreciated, from a satisfied customer

• Don Schroer for a spot-on correct letter about the riverfront project by the city.

• my three angels who helped me on the Dairy Queen sidewalk, because I needed help and God sent them there.

• a big thanks to John Hoover and Donna at Otter Creek as well as all the participants in the Sunday outing for the Women of the Moose’s inaugural Moose Heart Golf Outing.

• Columbus Regional Health and healthy communities for urging the city council to amend the city’s smoking ordinance to include electronic cigarettes.

• the cable news show setting up a fundraiser to send toothbrushes, soap, blankets and diapers to the southern border.

• Dr. Brooke Case at Athens Animal Clinic for coming in Saturday morning to see Gigi, from Gigi’s mommy.

Onions to …

• city officials for refusing to accept the fact that most local people here do not want a dangerous and expensive riverfront.

• the Archdiocese of Indianapolis for showing its true colors for the world to see.

• the studio that continues to recruit new members and offer specials to them only to forget about their VIP members that helped them get started.

• the blue truck that went into the left lane on Waycross Drive to turn left onto Taylor Drive, because it put others in danger.

• the gym that does not know how to coordinate activities, which creates an unsafe environment.

• the club that has bingo players that cheat weekly and nothing is done about it.

• drug house occupants who put trash all over their yard and hide drugs in their neighbors’ yard, and those who do nothing about it.

• the Democratic Party that wants Trump out so badly.

• Republican candidates and campaign committees that have spent more than $4 million on Trump properties.

• the two golfers that left their teammates in the clubhouse at the turn and proceeded to play without them.

• a U.S. representative for spending $45,000 in “campaign” funds at Trump hotels when he could have spent them more wisely.

• the vice president for thinking he can play the Christian conviction card yet sings the praises of the president.

• the community leader for the blanket statement that most people never adequately prepare themselves to retire.
